The Nintendo Switch introduction video is less than four minutes long, but it’s giving the kids a lot to talk about this season. It combines a home gaming system with portable systems by being easily transferable from your home television set to a handheld, portable device without losing where they left off — hence the name Switch.

The Switch itself can also split into two controllers for so both kids (or parents) can play at the same time, and is compatible with traditional wireless controllers for playing on the big screen. It also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose.

The release date is set in March 2017, with an estimated value between $250-$300.
