We created Tinybeans to enable families like ours to safely share the joy of their children’s moments and help their little ones grow.

Stephen is a bit competitive. His friend Dave and his wife kept a blog, beautifully capturing the lives of their two daughters. Stephen didn't, so when his third son was on his way, he decided to trump Dave by creating an app instead. As you do.
This app allowed Stephen to take a photo a day of his children, pop it into a calendar and he could share it with the grandparents. They loved seeing their grandchildren's daily lives and he thought other families would love it too.
SOY's initials led to his very first company being called Soyabean and his 3 boys inspired the name, Tinybeans. They remain his inspiration and the reason he is so dedicated to assisting other parents discover the resources they need to overcome bumps in their parenting journey.
Founder, Head of Marketing
Sarah-Jane (we call her S-J, you can too) used to be organized but then she had kids. She was going to make photo albums for each of her kids' birthdays. But she took too many pictures and then she got overwhelmed.
S-J and Stephen went for coffee and he told her all about Tinybeans. She joined Tinybeans straight away and is now in charge of marketing, but really she just wanted Stephen to sort her photos out and help make her family happy.
S-J's family lives far away in England and was always complaining she didn't put enough photos on Facebook. Even though lots of S-J's Facebook friends live far away too, she suspects that a few of them could have done with a lot less baby photos. Tinybeans keeps everyone happy!
S-J's mission is to make sure as many parents as possible discover and fall in love with Tinybeans. Her favorite Tinybeans Moments involve surfing with her husband and 2 kids.
Eddie's inspiration is his 4 boys. He needed to find a way to keep track of them all and Tinybeans was the answer. Family, childcarers, teachers… Eddie would like to see them all contributing to his children's Tinybeans Journal.
Eddie is passionate about Tinybeans meeting the needs of parents at all stages of a child's life. He is using his extensive experience in starting and growing technology companies to help Tinybeans realize its vision.
As CEO, Eddie drives the organizational strategy, partnerships and growth prospects and has aspirations to create the largest nurture network in the world reaching 100 million users by 2019.
Summer is all about making sure the moving parts that hold up our website are operating smoothly. Each time one of your Tinybeans Moments appears on our site or in an email, you can bet Summer made it happen.
On her days off, Summer is a dog lover, coffee lover and has 80,000+ unread emails. She was born in a town famous for its Kung Fu and noodles. And while she's not actually a panda bear herself, she does enjoy nature and monkeying around. In her spare time, she enjoys illustration and drawing during the week and painting during the weekend. She transforms into a karaoke queen when the full moon rises.
Staying true to Australia's pervasive coffee culture, she also runs a side blog detailing her coffee adventures in Sydney's Inner West. Go check it out.
Digital Media Planner
Sima hails from the bustling city of New York, and when she's not debating "realize" vs. "realise" or the relevance of pennies with the rest of the Tinybeans team, she's busy exploring all the great pockets of Sydney. She enjoys cooking and baking in her spare time, and hopes to eventually travel to every corner of the world.
Sima's main priority at Tinybeans is making sure the team stays on track with all the important projects & tasks going on, and that everyone has what they need to get their job done. Given her obsession with to-do lists, organization, & all the little stationary knick-knacks that come with the territory, she can't believe she gets an excuse to call what she does ‘work'!
Claudia is Tinybeans' designer and illustrator. Her main goal is to create playful and fun visuals, which communicate ideas clearly, as well as make people smile as they interact with Tinybeans. A serial hoarder of paper and cardboard, saying her work area is a mess is an understatement. She likes to call it ‘creative inspiration'.
Claudia grew up overseas, away from her grandparents and extended family. Although she can't always visit, she now keeps in contact with them through the wonder of modern technology. She dedicates her free time to building her creativity through sketching, reading comics and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.
Tim is the Android developer at Tinybeans. His goal is to make the Tinybeans experience on the Android platform as simple and easy to use as possible.
When Tim was seven, his dad helped him make his very own website about his favorite computer game, Lemmings. Ever since then, he has been hooked on playing with and tinkering with technology. Currently, Tim enjoys playing board games, volleyball, viral dances and thinking up ideas for his imaginary sitcom TV show.
Sherif works on the Tinybeans website, making sure it works great for every user and solving any difficulties users might be having. He also implements features that will make the Tinybeans website faster and more streamlined so users can be happy and have a wonderful website experience.
Sherif comes from Egypt and loves animals big and small - from kittens to lions (and, if dragons existed he would like to have one too!) Sherif likes math, physics and tries to understand why 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe. and everything!
At Tinybeans, Tim is responsible for data analysis and maintenance, from creating dashboard visualizations, reporting scripts, database management to data modelling and ad hoc number crunching.
In his spare time Tim likes to play Starcraft 2, read science fiction and non-fiction books, collect various Warhammer30k models, play bass guitar, and drink copious amount of coffee and tea. Tim’s ideal way to spend a holiday would be to stay at home and play internet games, with an occasional foray into the wilderness known as “the outside”. He also wants to own a Sphinx cat one day.

Bing looks after the Finance department of Tinybeans. She makes sure that the company has accurate accounts, and complies with government and statutory requirements. As the company strives to reach its goals, Bing is there doing her support role at her best!
Bing has two daughters and a son who has a big age gap from his sisters. With both her and her husband's families living in the Philippines, they use Tinybeans to capture their little boy's moments and photos, and share them privately to their families overseas. It is an easy and convenient way of keeping everyone updated on their son's development.
On weekends, Bing and her family gets together with friends, enjoying their good company, good food and good music.

Jessica has been using Tinybeans since her son was born in November of 2015, and has fallen in love with the product so much that she decided to come work with us! Jessica's main focus is to make our CEO, Eddie's life easier. She does this by wearing multiple hats and being super organized. She is someone who gets crazy amounts of stuff done with a smile on her face.
When Jessica is not in the office, she spends time with her son and husband, as well as hosting happy hours and other fun events in New York.
Head of Product
Jesse has taken over 10,000 photos a year of his daughter since she was born a few years ago. He loves working on products that he wants to use himself, and empathizing with their users, so it makes sense he'd be drawn to Tinybeans. As Head of Product, Jesse guides the strategy of what features and updates get built into Tinybeans, and works on ways to bring Tinybeans to millions more parents around the world.
Jesse is a New Yorker and loves finding new weird things in the city. He is the leader of the world's largest art meetup, whose 6,000 members sketch around New York (not all at once). In 2010 he published The Secret Peace, a nonfiction study of the long-term positive trend of world events. He lives on the edge of the East Village with his wife and daughter and books.
Head of Talent and Happiness
Ula is a child at heart herself and feels that many adults are too grown up. She loves children and is super-passionate about Tinybeans and, thinking about the missing memories from her childhood, she joined the mission of making Tinybeans the Internet’s happiest place for families.
Ula loves people, dogs, cats, bugs, crocodiles, dragons, sheep- basically all living things. Except for cockroaches. They are too scary. Ok, she loves them too, in a way. A-way from her.
When she is not at work, she puts on a “Captain Wildchild” suit and turns the silly switch on, but can also easily be found in philosophical discussions about the greater purpose of life and the importance of practicing mindfulness.

Every day we feel humbled that so many parents trust us with their precious moments and milestones. We work hard to be a company that families can rely on and love.
These are the values that we stand for and hold ourselves to.
We are down-to-earth and understanding. We are natural and unpretentious. What you see is what you get, and we think that is the best way to share with your families, giving them a taste of the every day. We realize family life isn’t always perfect and we celebrate the imperfections. Most importantly we can laugh at ourselves and have a sense of humor.
We are about the small things. The small details of the big moments. Small networks and of course small children. We act small, we are personal, we are understanding, we are sensitive, we are responsive and we would never ignore you or your child’s needs.
Family is central to us and the families that make up Tinybeans are the reason we are here. Whether it’s families separated by oceans, continents or just suburbs, we are here for all of them. As we know it takes a village to raise a child.
We are a safe and private place for you to share your child’s personal moments with the people closest to you. We are trustworthy and secure, and just for you. You get to make the decisions, so you can be sure who is seeing what.
We are fun, welcoming and ready to join in and get involved. We are not aloof or standoffish and we know how to have a good time, but never at anyone’s expense.
We have imagination and a sense of adventure. We see an expanse of possibilities and we marvel in the ongoing wonders of watching our children grow. We are trailblazers in our field, but would never be mavericks in how we treat your data or personal
