Hello, 24 Days of Girl Power: Where to Buy The American Girl Advent Calendar

The countdown to the holiday season is nearly here. While chocolates are tasty, an American Girl advent calendar is a daily gift of girl power that keeps on giving all year long!

Recently spotted at Aldi, the Mega Construx American Girl Advent Calendar Construction set fulfills your little one’s love of American Girl while offering a fun STEAM experience. Each of the 24 windows brings a new buildable minifigure or accessory in the winter-themed set that includes a puppy, snowman, sleigh and more—in addition to two American Girl figures.

Don’t have an Aldi in your area? Don’t worry. We did a little digging and discovered that you can also score this awesome set on Amazon. Of course, you’ll have to pay a little more for the convenience. (At least it’s available on Amazon Prime, so you can get it shipped to your door fast.)

According to PureWow, Aldi will sell the calendars for $17 starting Nov. 7. However, they are currently already available on Amazon for $25. Technically, this is the same set that was released in 2017, so it’s possible a newer version might still arrive before December.

American Girl also has its own version of an advent calendar at its website. Instead of a construction set, it features a 12-day countdown to Christmas with doll-sized surprises to discover, like holiday accessories and mini activities.
