Amy Schumer’s Pregnancy Announcement Took Fans on a Wild Ride

Never one to go by the book for anything, the announcement that Amy Schumer is pregnant was nothing short of surprising—and awesome news for fans of the comedian. But her pregnancy announcement definitely had them chasing around Instagram for the big reveal.

Schumer posted a picture to her Instagram account of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, but with her and husband Chris Fischer’s heads Photoshopped onto their bodies. Fans might have guessed what her news was from that alone (since Markle is also expecting her first child), but in a scavenger hunt-like twist, Schumer directed fans through the caption to visit the IG feed of former CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jessica Yellin for the breaking news.

On Yellin’s Instagram Stories, fans found the official announcement that Schumer is indeed pregnant, along with a reminder to get out and vote. The actress snuck the words “I’m pregnant – Amy Schumer,” at the bottom of a list of suggested votes for the Nov. 6 elections.

No word yet on when she’s due or what she’s having, but with an announcement that unique we can only imagine what hilarious pics are coming when Schumer inevitably sports her baby bump and shows off her newborn in the new year.
