A colorful way to introduce new foods

Challenge your family to “eat a rainbow” this week.
Offer your tinybean a variety of vitamins and minerals by stocking up on produce in all of the colors of the rainbow.

Make a game of it and encourage little ones to check off each color they eat this week. They learn by example, so don’t forget to lead the way!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Red – strawberries, radishes, cherries
  • Orange – yam, papaya, squash
  • Yellow – pepper, pineapple, corn
  • Green – avocado, cucumber, kiwi
  • Blue/Purple – purple carrots, grapes, blueberries
