All the cool kids use markers to wash up

We all want our tinybeans to become independent and hygienic adults.
But have you noticed that when you foster that independence during hand washing time, there’s often a fair amount of dirt still attached to your little one?

If so, try this pro tip: Use a washable marker to draw a little smiley face or other design on your kiddo’s hand before they wash them on their own.

Let them know they need to scrub with soap and water until the design is completely washed off.

That will ensure that they wash long enough for germs to actually go down the drain while maintaining the pride of doing it on their own. Win, win!
