Fact: Toddlers love to build and then make things topple over. This activity is fun, silly, and exciting to do again and again. But all of this action is also an important part of developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Between 18-24 months, it’s a great time to introduce a range of activities that strengthen the muscles in little hands and fingers, while helping children get the hang of making smaller, controlled movements.
