In an attempt to make them nice and cozy, many parents tend to overdress their infants, which can lead to overheating.
Here’s our rule of thumb: Dress your baby in the same amount of layers you’re wearing. Give it ten minutes and touch their chest or tummy.
If baby’s skin feels too warm, remove a layer. A little chilly? Add another layer on.
For an accurate gauge, remember not to go by the temperature of the hands and feet, which tend to feel cooler to the touch.
