For many kids (and their parents), adjusting to grade school also means adjusting to homework.
We can’t make subtraction any easier, but we can offer some guidance when it comes to setting your tinybean up for success in the homework department:
Designate (1) a regular time and (2) an appropriate place for homework to be done each day.
When work is done in the same spot at the same hour, it becomes part of the expected routine, leaving less room for disagreement or distraction.
We like to give our little ones thirty minutes to relax and have a snack before getting homework out of the way so playtime can be enjoyed.
How do you handle homework in your home?
