How cutting back on milk can change your night

If your toddler is a big fan of cow or goat’s milk and also wakes at night, you’ll want to consider whether they’re actually getting ‘too much’ milk throughout the day.
While you’ll want to check with your pediatrician about your individual child’s needs, some doctors recommend no more than 16 ounces a day 1 year olds.

Drinking too much milk can displace more filling, nutritious food. That can lead to waking during the night from hunger as well as other possible health issues (such as iron deficiency and constipation).

Many parents find that once they cut back on the animal milk, their little ones will start eating more and sleeping better!
