It can be especially exciting when your tinybean starts pulling themselves up to stand in the crib; but it can be challenging too!
In fact, mastering any developmental milestone can cause setbacks in your kiddo’s sleep routine.
So what do you do if you lay your little one down and they pop right up, hoping to play?
Consider leaving them alone for 10-15 minutes, then resettling them and laying them back down to try again. Repeat as needed.
Try not to be discouraged if it takes quite a few attempts at first! They’re thrilled to practice their new skills, but eventually that excitement will wear off and sleep will win out.
