Want to take advantage of your tinybean’s eagerness to learn?
Declare a “letter of the week” and have fun exploring the alphabet.
There’s no need to go in order – in fact, we like to start with the first letter of the child’s name to really pique their interest.
Each week, look for and focus on the designated letter in daily life: in books, everyday objects and verbally.
Practice making the letter together with different media. Use chalk, crayons and markers! And don’t forget to talk about the sound(s) the letter makes too.
They may not be experts by the end of the week, but you’ll have improved their letter recognition in a memorable and fun way!
