Bassinets and Moses baskets can make wonderful sleeping spaces for newborns. But before you know, your little one will be ready to move on out to a bigger surface – even if maybe you aren’t!
Of course, some babies don’t welcome the change in routine and need some time to acclimate to the vast expanse of the crib.
You can help your little one adjust to the move by making the space feel smaller than it is. Simply turn your baby the ‘wrong’ way and lay them down at one of the ends, such that they have crib slats surrounding them on three sides.
This change in perspective can help them feel more secure as the get used to the larger space!
