Whether it’s a streaming service, app, or physical box, subscription services are a way to make life a little easier (or fun!) each month. With so many products on the market, it can be hard to determine which ones are best for you and your family. Here’s a list of the subscription apps and boxes we swear by.
Parenthood can be stressful, but meditation can help. Headspace offers hundreds of guided meditations and mindfulness exercises. There is also a Headspace for Kids so you can help your child lead a happy and healthy life.
Rent the Runway
Renting clothes is a great way to be sustainable and save money. They offer thousands (and I mean THOUSANDS) of different clothes to rent – from dresses, tops, bottoms, bags, and accessories (don’t worry, everything is dry cleaned before it gets to you). Rent the Runway just added RTR Kids, so now you can rent clothes for your little one without fearing how fast they’ll grow out of it.
Starting at $69/month.
Tinybeans is the perfect solution for parents who want to keep all of their family photos in one safe space without having to share on social media. It’s a completely private network, so only the people you invite will see your photos and videos. Plus, it makes organizing your photos super easy (and the unlimited storage doesn’t hurt, either).
The app is free but Tinybeans Family Premium starts at $8/month.
Nike Adventure Club
Shoe shopping for kids can be a real pain. Not only do their feet grow so quickly, but it’s easy for their shoes to be loved to shreds. Nike started a new subscription called Nike Adventure Club to help parents out. You can pick anywhere from 4 to 12 pairs of new shoes every year to be delivered right to your door. The best part? Nike will send you a prepaid bag where you can send in old shoes to recycle or donate.
Make mealtime a breeze with Hello Fresh. Hello Fresh offers several plans that are easy to cater to you and your family’s needs. You can choose 2-3 recipes per week with up to 4 servings (options include dishes like beef ragu spaghetti, zucchini and tomato flatbreads, and salsa verde chicken enchiladas). I promise you don’t need to be a professional chef to master these recipes.
Kiwi Crate is a monthly subscription box to help teach kids about science and math through fun activities. They offer boxes for all ages – the youngest box is for 0-36 months and the oldest box is for 14-104 (yes, 104).
Stocking your kitchen full of healthy snacks has never been easier. With a subscription box like SnackNation, you can easily store snacks for on-the-go or to throw into your child’s lunchbox. Each box includes 8-50 snacks depending on your plan.
HOMER Learn-to-Read Program
If your little one is approaching the age where he or she will learn the alphabet or how to put words together, try HOMER. HOMER creates a personalized learn-to-read program based on your child’s interests and reading level. Your membership also gives you access to HOMER stories, an interactive library to help your child fall in love with reading.
Together Unplugged is a monthly subscription box with surprise fun games that help the whole family unplug from the online world and spend time together. Each box comes with board games, puzzles, conversation starters, and the latest Highlights Magazine.
