Most toddlers are ready to transition to a toddler bed between 2-3 years old.
But what do you do when your little one is attempting to climb out of the crib before they’re ready for a real bed?
If it isn’t time for a big kid bed yet, you can try to delay the move by using a sleep sack.
Whether the feet are completely enclosed in a wearable blanket, or there are foot holes in the bottom for older toddlers, the sack generally makes it harder to lift their feet high enough to escape.
It just might buy you a few more months of crib time. ☺
(Of course, be sure that the crib/cot mattress is also at its lowest setting.)
