Visual aids to vary your kiddo’s diet

Many parents like giving their kids a choice when it comes to meal time. But if your tinybean is requesting chicken nuggets at E.V.E.R.Y. meal, we have an idea for you!
Create a set of picture menus that include foods your child will likely eat.

Print out pictures (or cut them out of magazines) and tape them to index cards.

Once a meal is chosen, that card gets removed from the stack of options. Once all of the cards have been used, you can start over.

It’s a win-win situation –

Kiddos are likely to eat more when they’ve had some input into their meal. And you’re more likely to get a variety of foods into that little belly.
