Unlike most weekend childcare programs that only accept older kids, these are happy to take your littlest ones, diapers and all. Churches A church-sponsored Parents’ Night Out could be one of the best deals in town. Since churches offer PNO as a service to the community, they can set their prices low—and they’re especially affordable for large families since they set a max price per family. However, many of the caretakers are volunteers, so talk to the director and do your own screening to make sure you’re comfortable with the environment. These are a great bet for your separation-anxious kid, since the entertainment of an indoor playground is a lot more extensive than you’ll find in a daycare or school.
