While the newly opened “boutique bowling bar” makes for a perfect date night, the under 21 set is welcome before 7:30 p.m. if you want to strike out with the whole family. Custom Chesterfield couches and lane-side delivery of balls and shoes are just a few of the many perks at this posh place. In in addition to the lanes, The Painted Pin boasts bocce, darts, ping pong, pop-a-shot, shuffleboard, and skee-ball—not to mention the world’s only lane-side pour-your-own beer taps. Fuel up with their full menu of ”upscale alley” fare and craft beer, wine and cocktails. Woodfire pizzas like the “Buckhead Betty” (spinach, garlic, roasted mushrooms, ricotta bechamel and fresh mozzarella ) or a selection of salads and sliders will please parents. Or, snack on their signature waffle dogs (served with sriracha, sweet soy and mayo aioli) and housemade chipwitch. The littles can order off a menu just for tots that includes ubiquitous kid classics like cheese pizza, chicken fingers and french fries. Details: The Painted Pin is open seven days a week: Monday through Wednesday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight. It’s 21 and up after 7:30 p.m. each night. Bowling will set you back $25 per hour per lane (for up to 6 bowlers) during the week and $35 per hour on the weekends.
