The Brilliant Baby Halloween Costume Hack Hiding in Plain Site This Whole Time

Are you ready for the greatest baby Halloween costume hack ever? With Halloween on the horizon, your kiddo needs a cute costume. Right? Well, if you happen to wait until the last minute (and who would do that?), you may have more options than you think.

So you waited to get your baby a Halloween costume. Maybe you were so hyper-focused on your preschooler’s costume creation or maybe you just ran out of time. In any case, you head to the mall, walk into the pop-up costume shop and find…um, nothing. Nope. All that’s left this late in the game are a stray pair of vampire teeth and Scream mask. Yikes. What’s a frantic mama to do? To the pet aisle!

And here’s where a totally genius hack comes in. Instead of looking for a human costume, check out the animal aisle. That’s right. Those precious little pup costumes can double as baby-wear. They’re the right size, super-adorable and no one will notice that your kiddo is wearing something that was originally made for Fido.

Oh, but it gets better. If you’re not into pushing baby around in a stroller on Halloween night, simply attach the costume to the back of the carrier. Now you have a sweet, spooky and so, sooooo smart baby-wearing costume!
