Your community recently voted you “Most Awesome.” What do you think your customers value most about your business?Suzanne Tuttle: At 3621 acres in size, our park gives our guests the opportunity to experience a bit of Texas’ wilderness within the city limits of Fort Worth.RT: How was the Nature Center created?ST: The City of Fort Worth purchased the land which now comprises the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge in 1914 to protect the watershed of the newly constructed Lake Worth reservoir. Nearly 100 years later we are still fulfilling that mission.RT: What is your proudest moment in the business of the Nature Center?ST: My proudest moments are when young adults that we taught in our classes as children contact us to tell us that their interaction with our staff inspired them to pursue a career in science.
