Once upon a time, jam bands meant something different to us than our current situation of jelly-stained back seat kid boppers. But just because we can’t swing Bonnaroo or Coachella like we used to, we can still get our fix of live music without needing to schedule a sitter for our rockstars. Read on for our favorite spots around the country to catch some tunes with tots in tow.

Chastain Park Amphitheater – Atlanta, Ga

Chastain Park Amphitheater is the standard-bearer for outdoor concerts in Atlanta, and it’s smallish size and open-air design in one of the city’s favorite parks make it a perfect spot for seeing a show with the kids. The amphitheater offers grass seating in case the littles want to wiggle, or tabletop seating where you can bring a picnic—don’t be surprised to see some tabletops bedecked with candelabras and grandma’s silver—and enjoy dinner during the show. Since the park itself is in a residential neighborhood, the shows all start early and end by 10 p.m.
