When riding the wooden rails doesn’t to the trick, indulge tiny conductors with a growing assortment of train-themed interactive games. Working on the Railroad

Featuring three American song classics (Coming Around the Mountain, Home on the Range, and Working on the Railroad), this charming app lets kids explore immersive musical scenes while they work through various interactive games, including shape and letter matching puzzles and a train builder that lets players customize their own locomotives. Digital stickers are given as rewards for completed tasks and the accompanying music soundtrack is lovely. What’s not-so-lovely are the persistent banner ads that run across most screens, which busy little hands will invariably click. Aside from the annoyance of the ads, Working on the Railroad will have you humming while your mini-conductors happily play and sing along.
