Airfare can take a major chunk out of your travel budget, especially when you’re traveling with your kids and everyone needs a seat. Budget airline Ryanair is about to change the price point of American air travel by offering flights to the US for the first time.

While Dublin-based Ryanair is known throughout Europe as the largest low-budget airline, up until now, you could only cash in on the savings if you were flying to and from destinations in Europe. However, Ryanair has recently announced that it plans to expand its low-cost services across the pond to locations in the US and South America.

Teaming up with Air Europa, Ryanair will now offer connecting flights to New York City, Boston, and Miami. As of now, the new routes all fly in and out of Madrid, where you can connect to other European cities where Ryanair flies. “This partnership is the latest AGB enhancement as we continue our journey to becoming the ‘Amazon of travel,’” said Ryan Air CEO Michael O’Leary. “We continue to speak to a number of other long haul airlines about potential connecting flight partnerships and we look forward to offering our 130m customers an even greater choice and range of long haul services in 2018.”

If you’ve been holding off on that European vacation, now might finally be the perfect time to book it.
