Uber Eats Is Here to Save the Day Gear 14 of Trader Joe’s Best Appetizers for the Holidays We now break from your regularly scheduled blue and pink programming to bring you something different. Ready? Rouxroo is here. The brand-new line of bibs, burp cloths, swaddles, blankets and soft blocks will change the way you think about typical boy-girl color schemes. The focus here is high-voltage (and refreshingly unisex) red, green and yellow. The color contrast is big and the prints are clean, modern and playful (we think they look like cool artworks by Keith Haring). If they can’t stimulate a baby’s brain, we don’t know what will. Rouxroo has launched with a few essentials that make great baby shower gifts. All of them are made from eco-friendly and toxin-free materials. Start with the Square Swaddle Collection — soft, breathable swaddles crafted from organic cotton muslin that can be used as stroller or nursing covers, blankets or sarongs. For playtime, there’s Tangram Soft Blocks, which are made from repurposed fabric left over from the other products. These plush beauties are stuffed with bells, rattles, squeakers and crinkly paper for sensory stimulation. We think the real bread and butter of the collection are the bibs and burp cloths in crazy-cool geometric patterns. Bibs come in two kinds: Soft and Coated. The Soft has four layers of cotton, which makes it built to last. But we’re more wooed by the crumb pocket, which catches wayward nibbles. Coated bibs are made from cotton canvas and wipe easily (less laundry for mom and pop). The Burp is Rouxroo’s iteration of the burp cloth. With multiple layers of cotton and shaped to fit nicely on your shoulder, it’s anything but a throwaway. Get ready to color your world. Rouxroo goodies are available for pre-order online at rouxroo.com (shipping begins mid-May). Prices range from $16 for bibs to $42-$72 for swaddles. What do you think of this new collection?
