From parades to merchant trick-or-treating, there are frights and delights from Lincoln Square to Naperville — so many, in fact, you might need a second bag to carry your haul. Here are our picks that are guaranteed to get your little ghouls and goblins running for more, more, more!

Southport Corridor in Lakeview

One of the original merchant-driven Halloween celebrations, Southport Ave., from Belmont Ave. to Irving Park Rd., gives little ones a safe environment to trick-or-treat. Merchants hand out candy to mini costumed customers from 4 p.m.-8 p.m., with plenty of pop-up fun along the way. 

Tricks and treats will be handed out at select merchants on Southport Ave., from Belmont Ave. to Irving Park Rd. on Halloween, Mon. Oct. 31, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m.
