10 Trick-or-Treating Hoods & Events You Have to Hit

Trending Now

Grab your biggest treat bag and get your bell-ringing fingers ready. We know which neighborhoods and community events you should hit this Halloween. From parades to merchant trick-or-treating, there are frights and delights from Lincoln Square to Naperville — so many, in fact, you might need a second bag to carry your haul. Here are our picks that are guaranteed to get your little ghouls and goblins running for more, more, more!

Step on down to Downtown Naperville to enjoy a great afternoon complete with candy galore. Hop aboard the Trick-or-Treat Trolley which will circle downtown, offering complimentary rides, so families with tired tots can hit more spots. Jefferson (between Webster & Washington) and Main (between Jackson & Van Buren) will be closed to vehicular traffic, making it easier (and safer!) for kids to run from business to business in search of loot.

Halloween Hop, Sun., Oct. 25, from 10 a.m.-noon.

Downtown Naperville

Participation is free.
