Don’t worry, we’re not suggesting you strap them in and send them soaring with their feet skimming the treetops — these kid-approved zips will keep them mere feet from the ground.

If you have a little monkey that never met a tree they didn’t want to climb, a wall they didn’t want to scale, or a giant red Target ball they didn’t want to ninja-kick off of, it may be time to introduce them to the thrills of a zip line. Century Park

Century Park is located on 113 picturesque acres and the largest park in Vernon Hills with two playgrounds, two lakes and nearly three miles of walking/biking trails. Thrill seekers looking for the zip line should head to the north playground. Along with play structures and a climbing web, you’ll find baggo, bocce and horseshoe courts, a cricket pitch and fishing opportunities in both lakes.
