Ariel Rivka Dance (ARD) is thrilled to offer an in-person dance class for fall 2021 for ages 3-4 and 5-7!

ARD’s education philosophy is focused on melding both physical and emotional techniques and guiding students through the process of self-discovery as maturing and well-rounded people. Movement is presented and taught through feeling and emotion, not only through shape and line. We strive for students to experience being an integral member of a group; valued, respected, and heard by others, emulating ARD’s creation and rehearsal process. Our goal is for students to gain an understanding of their bodies in space and to express themselves through movement.

Classes will take place on Wednesdays from September 22nd – December 15th, 2021

Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers super fun, online and in-person, STEAM classes for kids 2-13 years old.

We’re not joking about the fun. All of the Robot Foundry’s programs involve making very cool robots. Robots that move, shake, spin, light-up, drive, and so much more that kids just adore!

Each class, children get busy with a new hands-on building project as they learn the fundamentals of engineering. Creativity and imagination are encouraged as each student puts their unique spin on their project. Older students can bypass the daily projects and build something of their own design completely!

Classes are available in-person at two locations in Brooklyn, and online from anywhere.  Students enrolling in online classes will be sent all of the materials in advance, packaged beautifully into individual kits for each class. No matter how you enroll, your kids will love the Foundry’s teachers, who work with very small groups to ensure tons of individualized attention.

Moosiki Kids classes are rocking “grownup-and-me” style music classes for adults and children ages 2 months to 4 years!  In our classes, we jam with instruments such as maracas, drums, tambourines, bells-you name it! We “meet” a new instrument of the week each week too–this could be the violin, banjo, concertina, frog guiro, keyboard–the list goes on and on! We also dance around to Moosiki songs which you and find on Spotify http://pen.spotify.com/album/6A8G5nu5FPqfDP68ackcsr and YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBUTLylPx2O_nK2s4BAqEOw but also sing fun kids songs (like Wheels on the bus among others) and kid-approved rock songs (by artists such as Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift)! We read musical books and do a musical storyboard in some of our classes as well–our books range from Eric Carle’s Brown Bear to James Dean’s Pete The Cat! We fly juggling scarves, sing farm songs with puppets, learn ASL signs in fun ways, and fly a parachute together.

Our number one goal is to have fun, and by doing so, learn musically at the same time!

Moosiki Kids classes are rocking interactive “grownup-and-me” style music classes for adults and children ages 2 months to 4 years! Moosiki offers a program that nourishes development through music, including communication through baby sign language (for our baby classes), guided play through repetition of original Moosiki songs each week, music appreciation of popular children’s music and super-fun (kid appropriate) rock music, and exposure to new sounds and rhythms by introducing a new “instrument of the week” each week in class, including the guitar, violin, clarinet, trombone, among others! Of course, we need to mix it up by using a parachute, puppets, muscial books and bubbles, all the while incorporating music in every exercise. Our number one goal is to have fun, and by doing so, learn musically at the same time!
