Stick It to ‘Em: Awesome Games That Only Require a Roll of Tape

When it's sweltering outside and they don't want to go swimming, it's time to pull out the tape and get sticky with it.

In case you missed it, tape got a makeover. The kind that would make Cinderella jealous. Give these creative and colorful masking, painter’s and of course washi tapes a chance to shine with your crew during summer play time. From an easily changed-up dance game to simple masking tape balance beams, we’ve rolled out the best games to play using tape. Bonus: All these ideas work for inside play when it’s just too hot to hang outdoors!

Recreate Retro Classics
A little masking tape, a roomy space and you can create three classic games for afternoon fun. Bring the original hashtag back by taping out a giant tic-tac-toe board. Then, use different colored rocks to claim your spot in this basic strategy game. Or use the same rocks on a giant washi tape hopscotch board. Toss one out before hoping from 1 to 10. A tape-made target also helps to pass the time. Have the minis toss small pebbles or wadded up tape balls at the bulls-eye score points.
