The internet is loving this dad who planned an entire at-home spa day for his toddler daughter
Who among us doesn’t love a spa day? Taking off to the salon is a little treat we all deserve, so when this man’s wife and older daughter decided to do just that, he didn’t want his younger daughter to feel left out—and he had the perfect solution. He created an entire at-home spa day for her, complete with all the pampering.
Mason Smith, who goes by @thedadsocial on Instagram, shared a video of the whole special day, writing, “Mom and sister went to the salon so I couldn’t have her feeling left out.”
In the video, he gently applies a homemade avocado mask to his daughter’s face, to her absolute delight. He has cucumber slices at the ready, but unsurprisingly, a preschooler isn’t down with having something cold and wet placed over her eyes. No problem, because dad moves this spa day right along, applying some moisturizer along with a face and neck massage—and some ear tickles, which his daughter clearly loves.
Smith finishes the spa day by spritzing his daughter’s hair with product and styling it into some chic space buns, then giving her a mani-pedi. It’s the perfect day, TBH.
Everyone in the comments was quick to shower Smith with all the praise he deserves for this awesome dad-and-daughter experience.
“Every girl deserves a daddy like this. 🥺❤️,” one commenter wrote. Another shared, “I really miss my dad, he was a great friend and same like this, even when I was 18, he use to help me straighten my hair, but he’s no more, passed away on Feb 10th.. missing you dadaaaa.”
