David Beckham’s Attempt at Building a LEGO Castle Is All of Us

You may be able to successfully maneuver through a business meeting or perfectly follow the recipe for a five-course Thanksgiving dinner, but when it comes to assembling a LEGO toy — you may as well be looking at an IKEA furniture spreadsheet.

And soccer superstar David Beckham is no different. The dad-of-four recently shared a picture of himself starting out the 490-page instruction manual for a Disney LEGO castle. To his credit, this is no easy project: the castle has more than 4,000 pieces and is labeled as being for ages 16+. Beckham has three sons, ages 12, 14 and 18; but we’re guessing the castle is for his 6-year-old daughter, Harper.

“I look confused but I’m so excited,” Beckham wrote in his post, which shows him surrounded by a pool chair full of LEGO pieces.
