Crib Sheets with Soft Fabric & Cute Prints Outdoor Fun 7 Funny YouTube Channels for Kids You Can Feel Good About We are always game for a new summer adventure, but sometimes it’s nice to trek through familiar territory. You know, those cafes, playgrounds, and stores, where everyone knows your (and your kid’s) name. Our editor Ayren Jackson-Cannady couldn’t agree more. This summer she discovered a handful of kid-friendly haunts—from a bustling neighborhoody farmer’s market to a super-chill tot lot— that she and her family just can’t seem to get enough of. Flip through to see her never-fail summer hangouts. The Hangout: Hunter Miller PlaygroundIf I had to take a guess, I'd say that this little guy has gone down the slide at the Hunter Miller tot lot 1,237 times during the month of July alone. It's okay though, because all of that climbing, sliding and running leads to a little boy who is happy to take a long summer nap when he gets home. There's also Caboose across the street, a kid-friendly cafe that sells iced java for mamas and smoothies for kids, so we could literally spend all morning at the playground. Find It: 224 North Fayette Street (Alexandria, Va) Do you love these spots as much as Ayren? Tell us about your favorite summer hangout below!
