Get a Jump On: Bounce House-Filled Play Spaces

Read next

It’s big, it’s loud, it’s blindingly bright, and in your less rational moments you wonder if it might come to life and swallow your child whole. But let’s face it: kids LOVE bounce houses! That’s why we’ve put together a list of the best indoor inflatable play spaces. Most of these spots house multiple bouncy houses and cater to all ages. There’s usually a place you can park yourself and watch the joy from afar, but our advice is to kick off your shoes and join in the jumping frenzy!

Pump it Up
These masters of jumpin’ mania helped start the whole bouncy house hysteria in the D.C. area. They feature massive inflatables, Go Glow special effects light shows, and over-the-top birthday parties.

10110 Battleview Pkwy., Ste. 110 (Manassas, Va)
(other locations in Hanover, Harrisonburg, Loudon, and Roanoke, Va)

Sport Bounce of Loudoun
It’s a bit of a drive, but Sport Bounce is worth it if your bouncy house habit is serious. Sport Bounce combines fun and fitness at their 10,000 square foot facility filled with enormous inflatables. There’s also a Jumpin’ Java café and smoothie bar, where the less active among you can relax with a latte or pineapple paradise smoothie. Kids love the giant inflatable red chair that makes for awesome photo ops. And they even host fun events like pajama parties!

44710 Cape Ct. Ste., #116 (Ashburn, Va)

Jump Zone
Here you’ll find seven massive inflatables and a pirate ship tree house. You’ll also find a cars-themed dual lane slide, a Jurassic Adventure area with walk-thru dinosaur teeth, a Nemo 3D clubhouse and a large obstacle course. For your tiny tots there’s a smaller, Sesame Street-themed bounce house.

7175 Oakland Mills Rd. (Columbia, Md)

Alexandria Coliseum
Here you’ll find a festive collection of inflatables, including a soccer-themed moon bounce, a 22’ slide, and an obstacle course that will keep your kids bouncing, sliding and running for hours. We can safely say that an afternoon here will guarantee a good night’s sleep.

4317 Ravensworth Rd. (Annandale, Va)

House of Bounce
In addition to plenty of supersized inflatables, House of Bounce offers a sizable arcade and a coffee lounge where you can relax and ingest all the caffeine you’ll need to get through the next few hours of jumpin’ jack flash.

9404 Center Point Ln. (Manassas, Va)

Ok, it’s not exactly bouncy houses, but many kids will say it’s much, much better. And who could argue with massive trampolines? If jumping is what your little ones look to for joy, then Rebounderz will have them head over heels in happiness.

22400 Davis Dr. (Sterling, Va)
