Advertisement From now through Nov. 2, Disney Parks-goers can celebrate Día de Los Muertos at Disneyland with the beloved characters from the Disney-Pixar film, Coco! The limited-time experience takes place at Disneyland’s Zócolo Park and various locations throughout Disney California Adventure. Read on to see these awesome preview photos. Guests will be treated to seasonal music, art exhibits, special food, dances and an opportunity for crafts as they celebrate family and creating memories with loved ones. This is a Disneyland-only experience––you won’t find this celebration at Walt Disney World! While at Disney California Adventure Park, be sure to head to Paradise Gardens and take part in the Plaza de la Familia festivities. There you will be able to view an interactive Memory Wall, a beautiful Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo location and the kiddos can participate in a mask-making craft that depicts an alebrije (spirit guide) from the film Coco. Don’t forget to also check out The World of Coco, involving Mariachi music performed on stage. While you’re hanging out in the plaza, chances are you’ll see one of the several performances of A Musical Celebration of Coco, in which the Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas perform with a hand-crafted version of Miguel. If you find yourself in Cars Land, head to Ramon’e House of Body Art and you’ll see the ofrenda (a remembrance altar) that pays tribute to Doc Hudson, a favorite character from the Cars movies. When you head to Disneyland, visit Zócolo Park to see the display in honor of Día de los Muertos. You’ll find gorgeous marigolds and papel picado in addition to a traditional ofrenda, sugar skulls, a figure of La Catrina and of course amazing food at the neighboring restaurant, Rancho del Zócalo. ––Karly Wood All Photos: Courtesy of Disneyland RELATED STORIES Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Gingerbread House Is Deliciously Creepy-Looking These New Disney x Vera Bradley Bags Are Paisley Perfection & Already Selling Out These Pumpkin Spice Treats at Disneyland Mean Fall Has Unofficially Arrived Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Copy (Opens in new window) Search more like this disneymusicdia de los muertosdisney parkshand crafteddisneylandfavorite characteradventureartmaskparadisefoodmemoryhonor Welcome to our Tinybeans family!
