Mickey Mouse Turns 90 This Year & Disney Parks Plan World’s Biggest Mouse Party

He might be nearly a century old, but Mickey still knows how to party. Disney Parks is celebrating 90 years of Mickey Mouse this year with the world’s biggest party and you will definitely want to RSVP yes.

Later this year all Disney Parks will launch special festivities that will last all the way until 2019. The big event is dubbed the World’s Biggest Mouse Party in honor of Mickey’s 90th birthday on November 18. The date commemorates the first time Mickey Mouse was seen on screen in the Disney classic Steamboat Willie.

The big birthday bash will also include commemorative merchandise, food, and special photo-ops in the parks. If you can’t make it to the parks, you can still enjoy the festivities from home with a star-studded celebration on ABC. There will also be several new Mickey-themed books, comics, and arts and crafts kits for sale.
