Here’s How to Get One from Krispy Kreme A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away by the name of Disneyland, not a drop of alcohol could be found (unless of course you happen to be one of the lucky few diners at Club 33). But now the galaxy has a new hope. A Star Wars cantina is coming to the Happiest Place on Earth and yes—there will be booze. The highly anticipated opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is inching closer and the latest info that will make fans very happy is the news that the new land will feature Oga’s Cantina. Now park visitors (21 and over) can grab a drink alongside intergalactic travelers and bounty hunters. According to the Disney Parks blog, you never know who might pop up in this rowdy joint known as a local watering hole for smugglers. .@Disney's #StarWars land will feature cantina with alcoholic drinks https://t.co/KNMFspg8zC pic.twitter.com/u2MSdhSos1 — The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) September 3, 2018 While the outpost will be featured at both Star Wars-themed areas opening at Disneyland and Disney World, this will be a historic moment for Disneyland as it will be the first time that visitors can purchase and consume alcohol within the park, other than at the exclusive, members-only Club 33. The cantina will feature a specialty cocktail menu with creatively themed custom cocktails that come served in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, as well as a selection of beer and wine. Besides the libations, patrons will also be treated to the musical stylings of DJ “Rex” RX-24. Visitors will remember this droid as the former pilot of the StarSpeeder 3000 who flew Star Tours passengers at light speed on an exciting trip to Endor. Many fans are already crossing their fingers that actor Paul Reubens will reprise the voice of this quirky, talkative droid. Oga’s Cantina is scheduled to open at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in 2019 at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. —Shahrzad Warkentin Featured photo: Joshua Sudock/Disney Parks RELATED STORIES: Everything We Know So Far about Disney Parks’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland’s New Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Park to Open Sooner Than Thought Leaked Video of Disney’s New Star Wars Millennium Falcon Ride Looks Insanely Cool
