eBay’s New Toytopia Can Help You Score Those Hard-to-Find Toys This Year

Nobody knows frustration more than a parent trying to find the season’s hottest toy for the holidays. Instead of waiting in Black Friday lines and scouring the internet for deals a plenty, this year’s hot tip is to check out eBay’s new Toytopia section.

The new Toytopia section literally has millions of toys, that are new and difficult-to-find (plus classics), including STEM/STEAM toys, family games, trains, dolls and more. eBay’s 2018 predictions of the best toy picks were made by using sales from earlier this year as well as asking eBay’s team of toy experts––and you can see the full list right here!

eBay also released their top eight trends that include everything from stuffed animals to tech gadgets:

1. Surprise Toys:  L.O.L. Dolls, Hatchimals & HatchiBabies, Feisty Pets, Lil’ Gleemerz, Scurff-a-Luvs and Party Popteenies
2. Animals & Pets: Crate Creatures, FurReal Ricky, WowWee Fingerlings Hugs Bella, Pomsies, WowWee Fingerlings Untamed Raptors, and Crayola Scribble Scrubbies Color & Wash Collectible Toy Pets.
3. All Things Gross: Games like Don’t Step In It! and WowWee’s What’s that Smell? Also, slime and squishy sequins, Poopsie Surprise Unicorn and Shimmeez
4. Classics: Polly Pocket, My Little Pony, Nerf Guns and LEGO
5. Tech: Air Hog Supernova Flying Orb, FurReal Munchin Rex, Baby Alive Super Snacks Snackin’ dolls and PlayStation Mini
6. All About Action: Marvel’s Spider-Man Collector’s Edition PlayStation 4, LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall, Transformers Energon Igniters Nitro Series Bumblebee and Aquaman and Fortnite Funko Pops.
7. Board Games: Fornite Monopoly, Pie Face Cannon Game, Soggy Doggy, Gift Magic: The Gathering – Game Night Trading Set and Catan: Settlers of Catan Board Game.

If you’re new to eBay and hesitant about shopping the online marketplace, there are some thing you should know. Currently, the retailer has over 1 billion listings, with 89 percent having a “Buy It Now” option which means no bidding! Roughly 81 percent of merchandise is new and about 2/3 of packages are delivered within three days or less in the United States.
