The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music (BKCM) has something for everyone this fall. Located in our beautiful Victorian home in Park Slope (58 Seventh Ave), our Community Music School (CMS) offers private lessons, group classes, ensembles and workshops in nearly every instrument – including piano, guitar, strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, voice and more. Students of all backgrounds and abilities, starting as young as six months old, are enriched, challenged and inspired by one another and by our world-class educators, making for a dynamic and interconnected music community. Our curriculum features engaging classes that enable multiple pathways to musical enrichment. BKCM is also home to a world-class Suzuki program, specializing in violin, viola, cello, flute, guitar, piano and bass, and a Music Therapy program in which clinically-trained professionals use the therapeutic powers of music to address clients’ needs and foster creative expression.

Families interested in exploring our CMS offerings are invited to come by our headquarters on Friday, September 10 from 3-6pm for Fall Fest. This FREE event will feature mini-classes, trial private lessons, outdoor performances, and meet-and-greets with faculty. All ages and experience levels are invited. For more information on all of our fall offerings, visit bkcm.org.
