Learning Spaces starts in-person classes August 28th, 2020, offering conveniently located classroom style campuses with professionally supervised independent study supporting all distance learning, homeschooling and other remote education programs. Kids will be placed into consistent peer groups per grade with distanced desks (aka “Pods”), dedicated broadband, and monitoring/assistance for the school day, followed by optional enrichment, tutoring or athletics programs.  Facilities are staffed with certified teachers as well as camp counselors plus medical and security personnel.

Benefits include a focused academic environment along with social time yet still keeping within safety guidelines or group size and distancing.  The program operates daily between 8AM – 5PM between August 28 to June 11 for the 2020/2021 school year and can be weekly drop in or the entire school year.  In many ways it is superior to traditional school structure. Available to grades 1-12 supporting all local school districts, private schools and home-schooling programs.  Operated by SDkids.org, a 501c3 nonprofit, costs for parents are kept at the lowest possible rates averaging $25/day for a full school day program.  Free school lunches provided for qualifying families.

Enrichment programs provided by Encore Creative Arts Camp include Archery, Guitar, Coding, Culinary, Photography, Magic, Gardening, Theater, DJ, Arts & Crafts, Acting, Dance, Chess, Filmmaking and more.
