To families seeking educationally-enriching activities for their children ages 3-18, Little Kitchen Academy is the first-of-its-kind Montessori-inspired cooking academy providing a safe and empowering environment to learn practical life skills, confidence, independence, and healthy eating habits to last a lifetime.
Little Kitchen Academy’s Winter Season, beginning on December 19th, is a time of inspiration and exploration as our students try new recipes for warming soups and stews, hearty salads, and sweet baked goods. While winter might seem cold and gloomy outside, our students will be filling our environment with joy and learning every day! Over the holiday break we have lots of fun with our Winter Camps, which are always a huge hit with our students. They especially love making edible gifts to share with their loved ones!
It’s also a perfect time to explore our Living Food Wall powered by AeroGarden. Our students can observe fruits, vegetables, and herbs as they grow and think about how to supplement the food mother nature provides with food we grow together! Students love using the be the bee pollinator tool and harvesting herbs or veggie themselves to add to the dish they made in class.
