Don’t break your back, and let the folks at Pedalheads help your kids learn to ride a bike! One of the more unique summer camps that you will find – this week-long day camp specializes in helping kids as young as 3 get-off-training wheels and ride on their own – often times in as short as one week. Helping even the most tentative of kids, they focus on safety, fun, and skills and more than anything want to build confidence and a love of biking for the campers in their program. For those with kids who can ride already, Pedalheads also offers road preparation levels. With Covid-19 still with us for 2021, try a camp that is both outside and provides inherently more physical distancing.

They provide half-day, all-day, and 1.5hr Tots level camps and typically run from the months of June to August depending on the location. Let them take out the yelling and frustration of teaching a kid to ride a bike and enjoy the benefits of enjoyable family rides afterwards. Having run bike camps for over 25+ years, put your trust in this popular, parent program staple.

NEW for 2021 – Select Locations in the Bay Area.

Discover the joy, insight, and wonder of Shakespeare!

This year Marin Shakespeare Company will be offering both in-person and virtual summer camps. Campers will explore creativity and imagination, practice teamwork, and build intellectual curiosity — all while enjoying physical games and activities led by skilled and caring teaching artists. Each camp culminates in a performance of an abbreviated Shakespeare play.

Here’s what a few of last year’s campers had to say about their experience with Shakespeare Summer Camps:

“It’s really fun acting!” – Gilbert, age 10

“I like the games and acting and we get to meet new friends” Lisa, age 8

“We act and make friends, and I was really interested in Shakespeare.” –  Laila, age 8

“I like camp because our teachers make us laugh!” Elizabeth, age 8
