The Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) is the place to be for family-friendly winter fun! Themed programs and special activities will make the season bright!
On November 30, BADM’s popular Iceless Skating Rink returns! In the midst of a “winter wonderland,” families can take a spin around this unique rink. It’s a great way to introduce children of all ages to the joys of skating.
If your family’s December isn’t complete without seeing Santa, BADM has you covered! On December 14 and 15, Santa is riding his sleigh to the museum to take pictures and hear holiday wishes. Tickets are available for our one-of-a-kind Snacks with Santa event, from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Enjoy hot chocolate and nibbles with Santa, and get your picture taken! If a picture all you’re after, join us in the afternoon from 2:30-4 p.m. to get a photo with Santa for free!
Finally, close out the month–and the year–at BADM’s Noon Year’s Eve. Ring in 2020 with themed programs, performances, and a 12 p.m. ball drop. It’s the best way to celebrate with the whole family – and still get the kids to bed on time.
