Professional artists teach students in a fun, relaxed environment where they can express their creativity and gain self-confidence. The techniques developed at Pratt do not stop here; students use these new skills artistically, academically, and interpersonally.

Pratt’s teen program is specifically designed for teens (13 – 18) who want to explore art making in a professional studio environment. Students gain understanding of complex concepts, problem-solving, risk-taking skills and discover positive ways to articulate the way they think and feel. Students celebrate their strengths and develop the skills they need to become healthy, contributing adults. Pratt provides opportunities for teens to develop a foundation for success through the process of making art, which has been shown to motivate and engage students, as well as to increase their ability to develop abilities associated with academic success.
