The surprise eggs that launched a whole new movement of pet toys as one of the hottest must-have holiday toys is about to shake things up once again with a very big announcement. On Oct. 5, Hatchimals will unveil the newest addition to its family: HatchiBabies! Read on for all the adorable surprise egg deets. Inside each large speckled egg in the new collection, kids will find either a baby girl or baby boy. Besides the gender reveal, kids will also be surprised to find hidden compartments within the egg that will add even more to the playtime experience. Fans will have to wait until the Oct. 5 “due date” to get their first look at the HatchiBabies—but you can already pre-order them from select online retailers including Target, Amazon and Walmart,until Oct. 4. HatchiBabies will be available in stores on Oct. 5 and retail for $59.99 each. The date also marks Hatchimals Day, which will be celebrated with a fun event for families in the Los Angeles area.
