The Cast of Harry Potter Is Headed Back to Hogwarts When you’ve got two best friends turning 7 at the same time, there’s no cooler party to throw than a Frozen bash. For this particular coronation, Heidi & Fei invited their lucky classmates to their San Rafael home, which was iced to perfection with chandeliers and frosty desserts. There was even a show stopping Elsa cake! Check out more of this birthday snow-down, styled by mom and owner of Etsy shop The Glitter Shoppe, below. Welcome to a Winter Wonderland No royal affair is complete without luxurious decor. With this jaw-dropping, 4 ft long and 3 tiered chandelier, kids and adults alike found themselves transported right into Elsa’s castle. Decorations were handmade and designed by Keely, mom and owner of The Glitter Shoppe. Her decorating tip: Hit up the dollar store, The SF Flower Mart and Fantastico to find quirky items to match any theme. This gorgeous, glittery “snowflake tree” also works as a decorative home piece for after the party. A Snow-pocalypse of Treats The Glitter Shoppe made the sparkling banner while The Sugar Studio prepared fingerlicious desserts and the marvelous birthday cake. Dragonfly Cakes also sent over delicious petite fours, so we think it’s safe to say that every party guest found their sweet tooth satisfied. Thanks to The Sugar Studio, all the blue and white sweets from sugar cookies to macaroons embodied Frozen perfectly. There was even cupcakes with Frozen rings, and the ever so loved Olaf macaroons. Look how regal The Sugar Studio’s blackberry panna cotta and Dragonfly Cakes‘ melt-in-your-mouth vanilla petite fours are. We love how the plastic little chairs make the petite fours a part of the crowd. What another easy but great way to add pizzazz to the party! These crystalized rock sugars treats look like fancy icicles that Queen Elsa would’ve definitely approved of. Frosty Fun Activities to Keep Fingers Warm Exciting party games included an intense Frozen version of “Minute to Win It” where little ones had to try and pick up fluffy snow-like marshmallows with chopsticks. Photo courtesy of Julie Zweifel There was also a temporary tattoo station (you know this was the kid’s favorite) and a game of “Pin the Carrot on Olaf.” Photo courtesy of Julie Zweifel Make It Snowofficially Memorable with Party Favors! No girly birthday party would be complete without some eye-catching jewelry. While tiaras and crowns go to the birthday stars, ring pops were the perfect whimsical favor for all the tiny party guests in attendance. And for those who want less sweets, popcorn makes the perfect snow-to-go favor. What did you think of this Frozen delight? Don’t forget to share this with your friends! — Christal Yuen This party was brought to you by Keely Nickel, owner of party design shop The Glitter Shoppe.
