The popular mini console, with its classic controller and pre-loaded with 30 games, sold out in November last year, well before the winter holidays. First, the bad news: sorry gamer dads—looks like you’ll be out of luck if you’re expecting the NES Classic Console re-release for a Father’s Day gift. The NES Classic Console re-release will be available on Jun. 29, according to the NES Classic Edition product page at the Nintendo website. #NESClassic Edition will return to stores on June 29! So how can you score of these cherished retro game consoles? Just like the SNES Classic Edition, you should be able to buy the NES Classic online at Amazon, as well as at major retail stores such as Target, Walmart, Best Buy and GameStop (no word yet if they’ll be releasing limited quantities to brick-and-mortar stores).
