11 Kids Shows & Movies Coming to Netflix in October

Get ready to sit down, kick back and catch up on some new kids shows and movies on Netflix this October. The streaming service always adds fresh content every month and we’re going to see a bunch of new Netflix originals, as well as some classics coming to the small screen.
While you may shed a tear over some of the departures, there are plenty of new shows and movies to get excited about. Here are our picks for October!

Super Monsters Season 2
Netflix's original show Super Monsters is back with season two. Follow the world's most famous monsters as their kiddos prep for kindergarten and use their powers for good. This season adds a curious new student, Spike, to the gang. Don't forget to check out the trailer! All new episodes launch Oct. 5.

Super Monsters Save Halloween Movie
The Super Monsters are ready to celebrate Halloween as they use their powers to help a friend over come his fears and get their neighbors into the Halloween spirit. The movie drops the same day as Super Monsters season two, on Oct. 5.

Boss Baby: Back in Business Season 2
The wait is over! Boss Baby: Back in Business returns to Netflix for a second season. The new episode lineup will address the new "threat" to baby popularity: old people. Baby Corp is whipping up a new serum that could swing the vote back in their favor. Tune in for all new episodes beginning Oct. 12.

Larva Island
Netflix's newest series, Larva Island, comes from Seoul, South Korea and is the first original Korean Netflix animated show. Two silly larva friends tend to find fun in everything they do, from meeting new friends and finding new food while stranded on a tropical island. Tune in for all the buggy fun starting Oct. 19.

Robozuna
Netflix's new series Robozuna follows a boy and his homemade robot as they try to free their oppressed nation from evil forces that include robot centurions. While it's rated for kids ages 5 to 7 years old, we'd bet it's pretty entertaining for adults, too! Get in on the sci-fi rebellion starting Oct. 21.
There are plenty of additional seasons of your kids' favorite Disney shows coming this October to Netflix, too:
Sofia the First Season 4 arrives the first week in October on Oct. 8. This season takes Sofia on plenty of adventures, especially through the Mystic Isles and the Secret Library.
Octonauts Season 4 makes a splash on Oct. 15. This Daytime Emmy-winning cartoon will take viewers on an educational experience where they will meet spinner dolphins, walrus pups and emperor penguins in its latest season.
Spend even more time with your favorite fairy tale characters when Goldie & Bear Season 2 comes to Netflix on Oct. 31. New episodes will introduce kids to Mother Goose and everyone's favorite egg, Humpty Dumpty!
Aside from Netflix's own lineup of original content, some classics family movies are coming back in the rotation. In the family and kids genre, be sure to tune in to catch the new TV movie My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rollercoaster of Friendship. Prepare yourself for the infamous "Large Marge" scene in Pee-wee's Big Adventure. And we can't wait to see Falkor again with the return of The NeverEnding Story. All three movies will be available on Oct. 1.
