New Year’s Resolutions – we all have them and sort of try to keep them (at least for a week or two). Juice Served Here’s flagship store on West 3rd Street pours raw, 100% organic, cold-pressed juices that your family can actually sit back and enjoy in-house, as opposed to most juiceries that are grab-and-go. Between the incredibly flavorful concoctions utilizing locally sourced produce, a bright interior space with plenty of communal seating (including a back patio) and free Wi-Fi, you and your littles will definitely want to hang a while. Juice is available for the road as well if you’re in a hurry. For the greenies (and polar bears) out there, you’ll be jazzed to know the shop uses glass bottles instead of plastic and even offers an incentive program for recycling them back to the store. Moon Juice
After years as a food editor and apprentice chef to Suzanne Goin at Lucques – Moon Juice founder, Amanda Chantal Bacon, took a leap of faith to open her own shop dedicated to completely organic, hydraulically pressed juices that are addictively delicious. And boy did it pay off! With an uber popular store in Venice and a new location in Silver Lake, Moon Juice delivers over three pounds of raw, unpasteurized, organic produce in every single bottle. Just imagine trying to get your tots to eat three pounds of anything healthy without wrestling them to the ground. Kiddos will totally dig flavors like “Carrot Lime Coconut” and “Beet Aid” along with the scrumptious assortment of Moon Milks (ambrosia for the lactose intolerant) the shop offers as well.

Totes Juices
As one of the valley’s newer healthy hotspots, Totes Juices, hits a home run with families by offering littles their very own menu of juices called “Mini-T’s.” Perfect for smaller juice connoisseurs, these 12 oz. bottles of hand-pressed yumminess are much easier to handle and showcase fantastical flavors like “Veggie Sundae” (organic spinach, kale, green apples and parsley), “ABC’s” (organic apples, carrots and broccoli) and the ever so fab “Almond Mylkey Way” (organic raw almonds, dates, carob and cinnamon). A delightful and airy atmosphere, super friendly service, and a rotating menu of dynamite cold-pressed juices and smoothies using the season’s best produce – Clover delivers on all fronts. Cautious tikes will especially dig “The Quench” (watermelon, lime and mint) and “The Clover” is suprisingly appealing to those that will drink their greens (with kale, cucumber, celery, spinach, pear, cilantro, mint and lime).
