One mom’s incredible reaction to visiting the set of Sesame Street proves that the magic doesn’t end just because you’re a grown-up. Twitter user Maddy Cunningham surprised her mom, kindergarten teacher Heather, with a visit to the set of her childhood favorite show, Sesame Street. Her mom’s adorable reaction to the surprise was so great, Cunningham couldn’t help but share it with the world on Twitter and we’re so glad she did. Her mom is grinning from ear-to-ear as she sits on the steps of 123 Sesame Street and nestles into Big Bird’s giant nest. The best moment of all, however, is when Heather meets Ernie, Cookie Monster, Harry and Rosita. She gasps with excitement as each character greets her and gives her a hug. As one commenter aptly points out, “The thing I love most is how your mom looks all the characters in the eye when she’s interacting with them.You can see her glance at the puppeteers—but she can’t help it, it’s the characters she’s talking to.
