The History of Brooklyn According to The Deedle Deedle Dees When: Sat., Jan. 4, 3 p.m. Where: Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont St., Brooklyn Heights Cost: Free The Deedle Deedle Dees first show of '14 takes place at a venue that is made for them, the Brooklyn Historical Society. This is because there's nothing the band loves more than its home borough and history. The concert is the first installment of frontman Lloyd Miller's new "Sing Back, Brooklyn!" series. It is being dubbed "The History of Brooklyn According to the Deedle Deedle Dees" and will feature old favorites and brand new, never played songs that still being worked out for the Dees' next record.
